One of our English speaking drivers will be waiting for you outside of the cruise ship terminal at Naples port, holding a sign with your group name on it, and together you will start this awesome Experience.
First destination for the day will be Pompeii, where a private guide only for your group will be ready to escort you to the ruins of this ancient Roman town. For the next 2 hours you will tour this worldwide famous archaeological site, and discover incredibly well preserved old houses, baths, theatres and much more. (Pompeii entrance fees included).
You will then reach your next destination, Herculaneum. Allegedly founded by Hercules, this ancient site is one of the few places in the world that can be seen in almost its original conditions, because a deep layer of hot mud buried it deeply, preserving everything beneath. You will find thousands of everyday objects, from price lists outside the shops, to beds, doors and even food. Guide and tickets are included.
Please note that since Pompeii and Herculaneum are a popular area for tourists, we strongly recommend being cautious of your belongings and leave valuables on the ship! We would also advise that you bring plenty of water, especially in the summer months, and that you are protected against the hot sun, as there is very little shade inside the sites.
After this awesome historical Experience your driver will escort you back to the port.

IMPORTANT INFO PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
- The tours and the itineraries CANNOT be changed. As it is a sharing tour, we provide the tours as described on our website (unless everyone in the vehicle agrees to a different itinerary).
- We recommend that guests always be on time and follow our driver's suggestions regarding timing throughout the day, in this way everyone will have a wonderful tour and we'll be 100% certain there will be no complaints or recriminations.
- Once you have joined an open tour or created a new group, your information (name, email address and number of guests in your personal party) will be given to the other participants in the group.
- Every time a new party joins or cancels participation in the group, you will receive a new automated voucher which includes the guest’s information, number of participants and the new price you will pay per person.
- Above 8 passengers from Naples, Sorrento, Amalfi, Salerno, Taormina, Catania and Messina ports we can either provide a Mercedes Sprinter minibus or multiple luxury minivans (according on the availability we have), while from Civitavecchia, Livorno and La Spezia ports we will provide multiple minivans above 7 passengers.
- Unfortunately the minibuses cannot enter the city centre and you'll automatically waste a lot of time walking to destinations, while by minivan, you can get directly to your point of interest, without wasting any time.
- We do not charge your credit card at the time of booking, we only request this information as a guarantee of services, in accordance with our cancellation policy.
- Payment will be automatically charged 5 days prior to the scheduled tour date, directly to the credit card provided at the time of booking. It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure that the credit card submitted will still be valid 5 days prior to the scheduled service, when the card is scheduled to be charged.
- At the time of booking, you will also receive an automated email which will provide you with the details to login to your own account on our site and monitor your reservations directly through the account. You can access your account by clicking on the section entitled “Account Login” located at the upper right hand corner of the homepage.
- Cancellation policy is 7 days prior the service, after these terms the full amount due (based on your booking) will be charged on your credit card in the event of late cancellation or no show.
- If the cruise ship doesn't dock due to any circumstance out of your control, you will not be charged and we will try to re-schedule your service according to availability. If your cruise ship docks in a different port, for example La Spezia Port instead of Livorno Port, we will change the pick up location, however there will be a fee associated with the change of port.
