Following your time in Pisa, you will continue to Florence. The birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and capital of the Tuscan region will offer you some of the most important artistic treasures in the world with its museums, palaces and churches. Do not miss the chance to visit Santa Maria del Fiore, the Battistero, the Santa Croce basilica and of course the Accademia where the original Michelangelo’s David statue is located.
Please notice that we strongly recommend to reserve skip-the-line tickets for the Accademia ahead of time and arrange this visit with the other group members in order to avoid different tickets access time and thus avoid itinerary and timing issues which of course will impact the tour.

Starting from Livorno you will go directly to Greve in Chianti driving through the famous Chianti wine road. You will visit this fabulous town which is sitting in the Val di Greve, named for the small, fast-flowing river that runs through it. It is the principal town in the Chianti wine district which stretches south of Florence to just north of Siena. Until recently it has been a quiet, almost bucolic town because it was, and still is, well off the main roads.
After visiting Greve, you will continue your journey through Montefioralle, in the heart of the Chianti region, and Badia a Passignano, two charming villages where you will have time to stop and take photos. The tour then proceeds to another beautiful village, San Donato in Poggio, where you will have free time to stroll around and walk among the surrounding vineyards.
You will visit a great winery where you are going to have a tasting of different wines, tour this 13th century winery with a great sommelier/ local guide, and have a typical Tuscany light lunch (usually includes: bruschetta, platter of cold cuts and cheeses).

The world known Cinque Terre are made up of five miles of spectacular rocky coast, two capes, thousands of kilometers of dry walls built on terraces cultivated with vineyards, five medieval fishing villages built on rock. Combine these incredible attributes with the spectacular color of the sea and sky, and you may understand the authentic beauty of the Cinque Terre: Monterosso, Vernazza, Cornaglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore are the names of the villages that make up this national park system protected by UNESCO since 1997.
Due to the increasingly high tourist volume within the Cinque Terre, per a decree of the local Administration of the Cinque Terre, vehicles are no longer able to drive into the downtown area or park, and driving through the Cinque Terre is now prohibited. With the inability to park our vehicles our drivers are now unable to accompany you downtown, through the first town or assist you with ticket purchases for the ferry or train. The driver will therefore drive you to the first town of Riomaggiore and provide you with information about the site and where to purchase tickets for the train and/or ferry in order to allow you to independently navigate throughout the towns and meet him back in the last town of Monterosso at a prearranged time and location. We kindly suggest to carefully follow the driver's suggestions in order to see as many of the towns as possible given the restricted timeframe of the day.
From here you will drive back to the port taking a quick detour to stop in Pisa, where you will have around 30 minutes to admire the stunning Piazza del Duomo featuring one among the best known landmarks in Italy: The Leaning Tower. Due to timing restrictions, you will unfortunately be unable to climb to the top of it but we are sure the frosting on the cake of your shared shore excursion.
Unfortunately, as the Via dell’Amore in Cinque Terre remains closed due to a landslide, you will be unable to visit this famous and very romantic walkway carved out of the cliffs.

After Lucca, you will drive to the beautiful resort town of Forte dei Marmi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forte_dei_Marmi). Situated facing the southernmost part of the Ligurian Sea. Here you will have about 2 hours to enjoy this area, established as a highly desirable vacation destination for prominent families residing in northern Italy during the 18th and 19th centuries.
