You will discover the most famous sides of Rome:

The Ancient one with the Capitoline Hill,the Roman Forum, the Circus Maximo, and of course the Colosseum, the symbol of the city and one of the world's most famous buildings.

The religious and artistic one, with the Vatican, St. Peter's Basilica, the largest church in the world, where you can admire the famous Michelangelo's "Pieta" and the beautiful Bernini Pulpit, and many other masterpieces. 

The sites of Renaissance and Baroque Rome: the stunning Spanish steps and of course the most famous fountain of the city: The Trevi Fountain.

Your driver will show you also other attractions such as Castle St. Angelo and its bridge, the Italian Senate and The Marble Foot, Trajan's Column, Imperial Forum, Trajan's Market, The Maps of the Empire, Arch of Constantine, Marcus Aurelius's Column, Parliament and Council of Ministers, St. Nicholas in Chains, temples of Apollo, Vesta and Janus, and Quirinal Palace.

For lunch you can choose between a quick bite to eat en route or a leisurely meal in a local restaurant. Your driver will be happy to suggest the best place in the area as we particularly enjoy taking visitors to quaint little restaurants where you will get an authentic atmosphere of Rome.

TIVOLI GARDENS

With Guide and Tickets

This full-day tour includes skip-the-line tickets to Hadrian’s Villa and Villa d’Este, as well as an official licensed guide for both sites.

Your English-speaking driver will meet you at the gangway holding a sign with your group name. The drive to Tivoli takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The tour must start at 7:30 a.m., as both locations require adequate time to be fully appreciated.

The first stop is Hadrian’s Villa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. This vast imperial retreat was built by Emperor Hadrian as a peaceful escape from Rome. Spanning over 120 hectares, the villa features elegant fountains, pools, theaters, and impressive ruins that reflect the luxury of ancient Roman imperial life. Your licensed guide will bring the site to life, helping you understand how the emperor lived and ruled.

After the visit, you will enjoy free time for lunch (not excessively long). You may choose to eat on your own, pizza, pasta, or gelato, or follow your driver’s recommendations. Drivers are always happy to suggest authentic local restaurants for a true Roman culinary experience.

Then, you will continue to Villa d’Este, located a short distance from Hadrian’s Villa. This magnificent Renaissance villa was commissioned by Cardinal Ippolito II d’Este, a descendant of Lucrezia Borgia. Famous for its spectacular gardens and extraordinary fountains, the villa is a masterpiece of hydraulic engineering and artistic design. Renowned artists contributed to its creation, and even a river was diverted to supply water for its impressive fountains and water games.
With your guide, you will visit the highlights of the villa, ensuring a smooth, engaging, and time-efficient experience.

It will take 1 hour and 30 minutes to drive back to the ship, but in order to avoid any traffic we sincerely suggest you follow your driver's suggestions throughout the day.

ONE-WAY TRANSFER FROM CIVITAVECCHIA PORT 

to Rome FCO Airport 

Are you looking for an affordable, comfortable and convenient transfer directly from Civitavecchia port to FCO Rome Airport? Save money without sacrificing quality by joining us for this semi-private transfer.

Our English speaking drivers will greet you at the gangway of your cruise ship, holding a sign with the group name on it. The group creator will set the pick up time for this service. It will take approximately 1 hour to arrive at FCO Rome Airport from Civitavecchia port. 

Each party within the group will communicate to the driver the specific terminal for their drop off the day of the service. The order of drop offs at the airport will be in order of the terminals.

We do recommend planning for an arrival time at the airport at least 2.5-3 hours prior to your flight's scheduled departure time.
